This Collaborative Governance Codex provides distinctions, thoughtmaps, thoughtware, models, tools, and processes for applied platforms that offer a digital representation of collective councils, which are a means of sovereign group decision making using consensus, voting, dynamic governance, holacracy, sociocracy, liquid democracy, or any custom combination. These templates can ultimately form a sovereign virtual courthouse, a startup or organizational ecosystem, a network of funds under common stewardship, land based networks, civic projects, and more, all that allow for complete transparency and access to public and private records.
These platforms, templates, and systems can effectively operate a government, a business, a community, and NGO, a business, a family, and more. The Collaborative Governance Collective helps investigate, design, and support new paradigm blueprints for groups and people to co-create and interact in sovereign, seamless, and synergistic co-creation in a unified field of collaboration.
The Collective aim to empower communities of any size or format to steward assets and resources in the commons where common-use platforms provide access to participants to in order to act as legislative bodies that sets precedents through voluntary agreements, act as an executive body that makes and executes decisions, or act as a judicial body that handles dispute resolution.
Phase I of The Collective’s work offers ecosystems open source, interoperable components and protocols and a means of directing and managing group activity in an open, transparent, and equalizing way - from service to land stewardship to economics to governance to communications and more, The Collective is putting into the Gaia Commons a common set of tools for ecosystems to thrive for the next seven generations.
