• Benevolence Make decisions based on your inner sense of the right thing to do in any given situation.
• Civility Be respectful and courteous even when faced with adversity.
• Listening Seek understanding through active listening. "Seek first to understand, then to be understood".
• Empathy Be willing to see the world through someone else's lens. Know that we can never fully understand someone else's experience.
• Acceptance Accept people as they are. Understand that not everyone aligns with your beliefs and expectations.
• Forgiveness Release the negative energy associated with harboring resentment.
• Inclusion Invite people that are different from you to the table. Be open to diversity and ideas that differ from your own.
• Compassion Proceed in life with the intention of making the world a better place for everyone.
• Generosity Be willing to share your own resources with others. This includes 'random acts of kindness.'
